Chris Gober is the Managing Partner of The Gober Group, a nationally recognized law firm that represents political and public policy advocates, business enterprises ranging from emerging start-ups to multibillion-dollar companies, and high-profile entrepreneurs, investors, professional athletes, elected officials, and music artists. The Gober Group has been recognized on Inc. magazine’s prestigious Inc. 5000 list, the ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. based on revenue growth, in 2016, 2017, and 2018.
Chris grew up in the small north central Texas towns of Throckmorton and Graham. He graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M’s Mays Business School in 2001 before attending Harvard Law School. After working as political operative for George W. Bush’s presidential campaigns in 2000 and 2004, Chris served as Counsel in the Office of Legal Policy at the U.S. Department of Justice, Deputy Counsel to the Republican National Committee, and General Counsel to the National Republican Senatorial Committee. More recently, he served as General Counsel to the Republican Party of Texas. Chris lives in Austin with his wife and two daughters.
