Chris Gober is a trusted legal adviser for the most consequential matters in American politics: campaigns, PACs, and nonprofits; constitutional and political litigation; and government investigations and enforcement actions. He is the Managing Partner of The Gober Group, a national law firm recognized in 2016 (#2455) and 2017 (#1890) on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list, which ranks the fastest-growing private companies in the United States based on revenue growth.
Chris grew up in the small north central Texas towns of Throckmorton and Graham. He graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M’s Mays Business School in 2001 before attending Harvard Law School. During the George W. Bush administration, Chris served as Counsel in the Office of Legal Policy at the U.S. Department of Justice, Deputy Counsel to the Republican National Committee, and General Counsel to the National Republican Senatorial Committee. He currently serves as General Counsel to the Republican Party of Texas and is an active member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization, where he serves on the Austin chapter’s Board of Directors and chairs the Accelerator program.
